News are coming. There are rumors they might go after Steam next.
They can't buy another store. FCC would block that straight up. Microsoft would have to shutdown the window store for that to even be looked at.

Them buying steam is super anti-competition. Not going to happen. And since Blizzard has a store, that makes it complicated if they try.

You boot up fast, see that you got no good games to play and then you get to shut it down ever faster.

Sony buying Valve being at zero, that i agree since Sony does not have the money to afford Valve.
Sony also invested into Epic Games & their Epic Game store.
Microsoft on the other hand has plenty of money still.
MS is/will buy another game company i think it is Valve, Gabe is almost ready to retire for good.
You and me both know that MS is not done buying, they will get a couple more & i think Valve is one of them.
The funny thing is that MS could buy every publisher in the world and they would still be dead last. That's how bad they are at making games.

If MS buys Steam in a few years people will have moved on to something else.

I'm not so sure about that, MS can buy the company but left everything as is and let Steam run itself like usual.
Steam is not a platform it only a PC Storefront, it does not have a monopoly anyone is free to make a PC Game storefront
a liking to example 'Epic Game Store'

I believe the FCC won't do a thing as long as Microsoft does not locked everything to only their Windows Store.
Yea, but there are other things that I'm weary of:

1) MS laying off staff from Valve
2) Putting a halt to or relabeling Steam Deck
3) Clamping down on how Valve does things and either changing it or getting rid of it altogether.
4) Taking control over any future advances in the Steam Deck hardware.
5) Having 100% full rights to Valve's IPs like Half-Life.

A Half-Life game produced by MS...

The story would probably go something like Freeman falling in love with GLaDOS and trying to fuck it.

If you were to lay off the copium for a minute, you'd realize that Xbox hasn't been last in over a year now. But something tells me you're gonna keep coping.
Truly pathetic... Who is last then? The Intellivision Amico?

The Xbox is dead last and deservedly so because they can't put out quality games. Only someone completely deluded like you would think otherwise. COPE.

With every single one of your post you somehow manage to make think even less of Xbox fans and I'm surprised every time that it's even possible.

I can't laugh at feigned ignorance, it's a bit sad tbh.
Just say it, what makes you so scared? The truly sad thing is you being unable to face reality, so you have to make up lies to save face but then you get embarrassed by your own lies and then you try to change the subject and pretend you never said it.

I just want it in plain writing so I can always link to it so everyone can laugh at you and we don't have to waste our time with you anymore.

I been thinking what would get you to switch to PC?
Maybe i can convince you to join us 'PC Master Race'
Why limit yourself? If you got the cash buy them all.
Could manage it if I really wanted to switch to PC but here are my main issues -

1. Digital Only. I buy most games on disc because im not a collector and unlike companies, I prefer to pay less and get more instead of paying more while getting less. I'm also not going to wait for sales or this or that. 90% of my games are day one and the very few that aren't is mostly due to not being a priority compared to other games that are simply higher on my list that I want to play or at times, I have maybe 2 or 3 games but only want to choose one and take time to decide which one I want to play. Most of all, im not into having a collection anymore. I only buy games digitally if it's digital only game like the upcoming Sword and Fairy game or if I know there will be post launch expansions and im all in like Dying Light 2, Outriders, etc. Any game for me that is a one and done simply must be gone once completed.

2. PC ports more times than not suck. There's either issues or you need a certain driver or specs or this or that. Not worth my time.

3. Settings. You can customize shadows, textures, frame rate, etc. but nah, not for me. I just want to sit down and play the game. Not spend hours testing this or that.

Most of all. I simply prefer the console setup and experience. Have been this way since NES and will stay this way until im done with gaming.

Just say it. Who is last if not Xbox? Do it.

Can we stop with the petty squabbling?

Switch is outselling everyone,

here's July:

Now that you both have it out of you're systems can we continue to talk about thread topic?

Stop getting baited by each other, and stop antagonizing one another.

We can have conversations that don't sound like a bunch dumb ass kids are talking.

I can understand this. And I can say that Valve hit that sweet spot with the Steam Deck. It's literally a console PC. They set all the graphics settings for you. You don't have to worry about drivers. It can be on a USB dock for k/b+mouse+tv controls. All the games are stable so far. I'm loving this more than my own PC in the game room and it's significantly less powerful than my PC.
