They seem to just be betting on people getting confused and not realizing the massive different that exists between a Series S and a PS5 and a Series X and PS5 Pro.
Now the way is open for Sony to charge $700+ specially if Xbox doesn't get panned for this embarrassing product.
It's not because Sony wants to sell consoles. Xbox gave up. If they wanted to be competitive and sell hardware, they'd have taken a loss.
I don't know, I don't trust Hiroki Totoki to be aggressive. Dude will probably ask why they aren't charging much more if Xbox is charging $600 for a console that has shown itself to be weaker and less apealing than their 4 years old $500 console.

Physical and digital are dead on Xbox and the number of Gamepass subscribers is decreasing.
What they gonna do sell a more expensive piece of hardware in markets that the PS5 is already too expensive in and they have to be doing constant price promotions to push sales? Lol
The Xbox controller has always been rubbish because Microsoft doesn't know how to make a quality controller. Microsoft should stop making controllers because they are the biggest vermin in the world
