Well for one, publishing on Xbox is inherently unnecessarily difficult and that difficulty pushes away developers


This isn't the only time this has happened, either

I mean yeah, but the fact that Xbox users don't buy games is probably the biggest pill to swallow for studios. The only "good" reason to release on Xbox is if Xbox gives you a lucrative gamepass deal.

I this is more of a Sarah Bond thing and higher ups, that are seeing so many game developers skip xbox, and then to turn around and blame the process. But I think this will in affect show higher ups all these systems that have been in place for a long time were under phil and not changed.

I also hope the 18 month contract thing is brought up a lot. But im not holding my breath.

Publishers and devs are smart, they know games aren't selling on xbox so they avoid releasing their game there on purpose so Phil will swoop in and drop em a bag to cover the costs and more. Clever.
