Yuji Horii Can do anything imo.
He is to Square Enix what Shigeru Miyamoto is to Nintendo save the different in sizes of the two companies.

And he leaking it means he is involved again in CT..

Chrono Cross is a masterpiece criticized by fans for not being like Chrono Trigger.
It is a direct sequel from CT but with way different structure and gameplay.

At time it deserved more love.

"Currently, Dragon Quest III and I-II [HD-2D] Remakes have been going on. I'm getting a lot of requests for a Chrono Trigger remake as well, so I'm starting to look into it ," he admits later in the video.

While the original quote was a mistranslation and it is not in development.
He again talked about "looking into it" in this interview.
So there are big changes to be his next project after DQ HD remakes.
