The digital ratio for full game software sales on PlayStation platforms reached 70% for the full year. Digital sales accounted for just 19% in FY2015.

🤷‍♂️ I will buy physical over digital as long it's possible.

And Sony knows how popular AAA physical releases are.
Of course, their 1st party like 60 40 physical and 3rd party AAA like 40 60 physical.
It is huge numbers when you sell millions.
Sony and others would be idiots ignore it.

Remedy, how it is going? Did you even recoup the costs?😂

You know what I see? Negligible digital growth after the pandemic. You got what you got but the rest don't wanna change.

Physical games are not going anywhere
I hear tht. We have alot of stores at least in the U.S. Basically stopping selling physical there are whole threads on it. Damage is done and is obvious.

Physical won't die out anytime soon, even PC still gets physical discs.

That doesn't mean publishers will continue to put out physical versions of games, but yeah there will still be first and second-hand copies of old games available on physical media.

Exactly, publishers are little by little not putting out physical. Even Hellblade 2 doesn't have a physical which is dumb.

Poor example. M$ are against physical. They want to control all masses to impose they anti competitive practices.
Their were barely selling like 5-10% of their games physically.
In Completely different situation are Playstation and Nintendo
