Thanks to the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six and Assassin's Creed series, the company saw a 33.5 percent increase in net bookings, pulling down €2.3 billion (about $2.5 billion) for the full year.

Ubisoft's full-year results for 2023-2024 show off strong financial performance for the company.

The Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and Just Dance publisher earned about $2.5 billion in net bookings, a new record.

But the company laid off 1,700 employees since 2023.

They didn't fire 1700 workers, they had a program to reduce the workforce without making any massive layoff by hiring less normal workers and contractors, renewing less people, compensated early retirements and so on.

In fact their worker retention improved during this period.
