From the FY 2021 annual report (this is from July 2020 to June 2021):
"Gaming revenue increased $3.8 billion or 33% driven by growth in Xbox content and services and Xbox hardware."
Simple maths dictate that FY 2020 had around $11.7B in revenue und and FY 2021 has around $15.5B in revenue.
You can do the same thing for quarters.
Thank you and finally. I stand corrected.
Just to quickly correct this, a 33% increase for a total of 3.8B increase is around 11.5B for revenue in FY20 and 15.3B for FY21.
FY revenue for Nintendo in 2022 (timelines for each company's full year differ) was 13.7B adjusted for inflation at the time of earnings report release, which is not far off considering they are end gen. Still, for the time being, Xbox is indeed in second place, and will likely remain so until Nintendo releases their next console.
