Just saw the gameplay for Saints Row IV for the first time. Why does it look so low-budget and indie? I thought it was a relatively well-established IP, and the devs are experienced enough to make the game look visually competitive.

this game looks absolutely awful and i await the laugh i will have when we get the sales numbers.

Yes, it always looked like a lower-budget GTA but still competed reasonably well. This is now such a stark difference. Even GTA 5 2013 PS4 version looks better than this.

Saints Row never looked 10 years behind GTA.

looks like PS4 version on PS5. this game will bomb unless it has very low budget, because it is looking like low budget game.
