Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic trailers for Embracer’s remake got pulled from YouTube.
Sony also deleted the tweets referencing it on the main PlayStation account.
One of the rare SIE partnership Ls. Embracer are cutting costs now. This thing is dead.

Embracer is trash. They bought tons of studios for their IPs but they don't want to pay for the development of AAAs. It's all outside publishers.

Aspyr has never made a good game before, they've only done ports. Clearly bit off more than they could chew, were probably trying to become bluepoint 2.0

Technically this means Perfect Dark may not be safe, either. Or the other MS game being co-developed with one of the Embracer studios, for that matter.

Being a dick. They submitted milestone builds that were exactly as ordered but were told they failed anyway. Its something publishers use to turn the screws on devs and get out of deals they no longer like.

For example, Bethesda used to contract outside studios and then purposely fail their milestones to bankrupt and then acquire them.

Crazy how a KOTOR remake has been floating around for years and still a game of it has not happened. I know at some point Bioware wanted to work on a remake but EA passed on it. The original is highly regarded and still no remake anywhere. I never played the original but did picked up the remaster on Switch. However, never stuck with it for long only a couple of minutes. The game hasn't aged well in terms of the gameplay design and elements of it.

I think it was when EA gained the exclusive liscense. Bioware would have been on TOR, Anthem and ME4 at the time, there wasn't room for a fourth game.
