I'm really optimistic. The Ps5 has allowed me to have absolutely incredible experiences, there have been plenty of SIE published games this year that I haven't even completed yet. + tons of high quality third party games.
So I except for the weird decisions delisting the PC ports, which are...
I do really hope it's around the performance of ps4 or more when it's docked.
Because I really want Nintendo to push their limits as software developers.
And I hope the third party support for it can grow as well, and we can see atleast a bit more graphically intense games.
Luffy I completely agree with you on the games Sony releases.
They have incredible studios and Sony makes good executive decisions regarding the studio and let's them have resources and doesn't rush them.
And they dont put MTX, they always launch at 60 fps and at great performance, with not...
Sony venturing into RPGs would be very cool to see.
Something I've though about recently.
Maybe Naughty Dog would be the perfect studio right now if they don't want to work on Existing IPs.
And they have like 700 people working there right now which is incredible.
I'm very excited to see the performance of the next Nintendo console.
I hope to see how much Nintendo will push their own software in ways it had been limited before.
As well as how the third party support for the platforms will be.
Nah don't leave man.
I agree with you personally that there's too much Doom and gloom, and PS will be fine.
It's not like Square Enix will be removing games from PS, they just won't make them exclusives i think.
That can definitely happen.
But I don't know unfortunately. Because when a company relies heavily on one platform I think it can even be encouraged from both companies that the smaller one gets acquired.
But Square being independent would actually be good as well since the management and stuff...
Your perspective could very well be right, especially when you relate it to Nintendo.
But I do think the sales can be a very good resort as studios are in a tough position and need more funds.
But PC users could definitely buy a Playstation just because of few exclusive titles as well as not...
They aren't. They see it as extra revenue YEARS after releasing there.
If they were they wouldn't make Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin, and Rebirth completely exclusive at launch.
And this is just 2024.
