I'm a gaming fan since 3/4 years old. Playing MGS would calm me down when my aspergers and adhd had me struggling with my temper. My mum would watch. Since then games have always been my escape and my passion.
Throughout my childhood games were all I thought about.
I took a hiatus at 16 for four years. But soon caught up on all the amazing PS3 games I had missed.
Started a twitter account years ago. But only 3 years ago did I begin investigating the gaming scene. I'm glad I did (for the most part - cmon it's still twitter
).
I began making videos to address some of the narratives I really couldn't believe I was reading. From "either 120fps or it aint next gen!", to "Why isn't spiderman remaster seperate from miles morales! So anti consumer!".
People rated my videos. I decided to start uploading them to YouTube.
And from there my twitter and YouTube presence grew. The rest is history!
I have a podcast called The World Wide Company Of Gamers Podcast. Safe to say I'm extremely proud of it.
It consists of some of the most informed, wise and balanced minds ive come across. From game devs and game aficionados, to software architects and business analysts. They bring something to the table few Podcasts can. They're amazing. I also have the complementary sub podcast called The Hangout. Slightly more off the cuff and unprofessional
.
The WWCOG podcast has grown massively in a short space of time. And we have had insane achievement milestones, from Michael Mumbauer himself guesting, to non other than NX Gamer - my favorite youtuber and esteemed game software and hardware analyst.
We had a small break due to personal reasons, but we are back on full steam ahead. The link is above under "Website".
I'm honoured to be one of the first to check out this Icon-Era and be a part of it. I have no doubt this is going places. It might just end up being the ultimate gaming space on the Internet. Certainly looking that way. Goodbye twitter!
