Players’ Choice: Vote for February’s best new game​


Did you fight for democracy, fate, bubbles, or some other reason this month?

February had no shortage of options to choose from, no matter your gaming preference. Did you spend endless hours in multiplayer or take on a solo quest? Do your part and let us know in the poll below.

How does it work? At the end of every month, PlayStation.Blog will open a poll where you can vote for the best new game released that month. After the polls close we will tally your votes, and announce the winner on our social channels and PlayStation.Blog. PlayStation Store will also showcase some top Players’ Choice winners throughout the year.

What is the voting criteria? That’s up to you! If you were only able to recommend one new release to a friend that month, which would it be? Note: re-released games don’t qualify, while remakes are reserved for ambitious, larger-scale rebuilds such as Resident Evil 4 (2023) and Final Fantasy VII Remake.

How are nominees decided? The PlayStation.Blog and PlayStation Store editorial teams will gather a list of that month’s most noteworthy releases and use it to seed the poll. Write-in votes will be accepted.

Balatro came out of nowhere to steal all my time I was going to play other new releases with.

For me personally -tech issues aside- Helldivers 2 is a clear winner. But I assume for a ton of people FFVII Rebirth will be the winner.

And well, then there's many iconera users who say Sony haz no gamez this year so since for them Helldivers 2 and FFVII Rebirth don't exist I assume they may vote Skull & Bones or Suicide Squad.

i have not played any of those games, but i think if i have to choose one it will probably be final Fantasy rebirth.

Alot of my friends have Helldivers 2 and are really enjoying it, but i think some of the server issues etc , might of just taken away some of the shine from the game.

Also, after speaking to @Lord Mittens last night, he said if he had to choose between his wife and playing rebirth he would choose the game, even threating to make her homeless.

His final words to me were, " nothing is going to fucking stand between me and Tifa"

Played two games last month, so my vote is for Banisher.

Of course, FF7RR will win.
