Baldur's Gate 3 cast members Neil Newbon and Amelia Tyler want to return for more Dungeons & Dragons games or even a sequel to the Honor Among Thieves film.

Larian may be done with Baldur's Gate 3, but Neil Newbon isn't necessarily done with Astarion, nor the universe that he inhabits

Speaking to IGN, Newbon said he didn't feel done with Astarion despite developer Larian Studios itself moving on from the Baldur's Gate franchise. Publisher Wizards of the Coast is making a ton of other Dungeons & Dragons games though, and Newbon is certainly up for appearing as Astarion in one of those.

"Most characters, once I've finished with the work, especially on long jobs, and this was a particularly long job, I usually have a compartmentalization and it's like, 'great, that's done,' I'm happy moving forward to the next role," he said.

oh look a unknown VA got a role that got more popular than it deserved and now plans on milking it professionally for the rest of time. The more these BG3 guys talk the more insufferable they seem. We are stuck getting quotes from these insufferable pricks till the end of times aren't we?

Dude I bought the game on steam before you posers got on the hype train after the 1.0 release. Its a standard crpg game same as BG1 and 2 but with cutscenes, You guys making it out to be some holy grail is just cringy. I don't suck Sony's nuts like many on this site, In fact Horizon and Last of Us are 2 series that are all fluff and no stuff. You may like neil newBUM's and larian's spiel but others are not always on their knees for larian like you

To put it into context, the indie studio who made Blasphemous is Spanish, like one of the Larian studios: Larian Barcelona, which was created with people from mostly another local indie studio (Blitworks), plus people from mostly other local teams.

In the Spanish indie scene we know each other (at least those who have been in the industry during many years attending industyr events), share beers and lunches at least in national industry events, contribute each other in things like crowdfunding and there are many friendships between people of many different teams, as it's my case with folks running both studios.

I also even know personally the guy of the tweet, even if they live in the opposite corner of the country.

You can feel however you want about BG3 as a game - but I'll always appreciate it for totally overshadowing game of the generation Starfield

Larian are a great studio, possibly the best ATM (imo).

Baldurs gate is a great universe.

Imagine hating a combination of those. It would be like hating garlic and bread. (Insert Peter Kay joke here).

bg3 was great but releasing 1 great game that was in early access for 3 years doesn't make you the best studio ATM lol. RGG released 3 amazing games in a year span, they're easily the best atm.

Larian have been releasing great games since the 90s. Why do you think they were given the BG license to make a third game?

They paused development on two games; DoS3 and DoS:tactics, to work on BG3 to do it justice.
