Good for them, this is why they bought Minecraft, Bethesda and ABK and kept them multi: to have more revenue and active players from them.
The same people that were playing COD and Candy Crush are still playing the same game on the same device. Nothing changed at all for nobody. This is like EA bragging about people playing on all the platforms when they were already playing on all platforms 🤡

Phil bought everything because he wanted to lock it up in his ecosystem but he failed.

Where's COD on Switch and Cloud btw? The promises disappeared after the acquisition. Ubisoft looking real dumb.

What changed is that MS is now who gets the money from them. MS cares about money, not about console wars.

It doesn't make sense to try to put a modern CoD on a Switch, there isn't decent horsepower and wifi there. I assume they are waiting for the Switch 2 release, to release it there instead.

Regarding gamesubs/clouds, we know Sony had a deal with ABK that blocked its inclusion on rival game subs for an undisclosed amount of time (in case of a similar one for RE, it was around like a year and a half after launch). So it's fair to assume they are waiting for that deal to expire. And then one it's done Ubi would be able to start licensing CoD (and the rest of ABK games) to the diferent cloud/gamesub services.

No, they said they would bring COD to 150 millions new users. Obviously they were not talking about Switch 2 since it's not even out. They also said they would make a native Switch version. I think it was Brad Smith that confirmed that but he's clueless baboon.

Records for streaming, usage and such is so lame. How many units and games did you sell….

It's always hours, mau, never copies sold lmao. At this point they can buy a server farm and just let starfield run 24x7 on the xbox series x cloud machines and boast about 1 billion player hours
The mau thing always makes me laugh.

It is dumb metrics.

If you sold more console you will stats bigger data even if they sold like 600-700k consoles to consumers they will increase these starts.

Having more consoles sold and the stats lowering is just very improbably to happen.
