    Let's say you pay for mid-tier Plus: $14.99/month, $180/yr. Then you buy 10 new releases per year. <1 month on average: $700. And you buy the disc drive to play those new releases: $80 So you're at close to $1,700 all told for one year of use with your PS5 Pro. In year 2, that drops $880...

    You can instantly lop off $100 for the OS. You don't need to buy a key to use Windows. And how did you spend $206 on an SSD? A 2 TB SSD should run you no more than about $100-$120. Sometimes less.

    Not true. You can easily customize Windows. And lots of people (myself included) currently use or have used Linux for gaming.

    The PS5 Pro being $700 is what happens when Xbox cashes it in and Sony has no competition. You can bet the PS6 is gonna retail for $600+ and games are gonna creep up to $80 and beyond.
