Apparently some people were arguing when sales of the game announced it at 3 million on PS5 that the game was a failure and needed to be ported to other systems in order to be profitable
which, maybe ports do bring in more profits, but Square didn't need saving so to speak nor was 3 million some...
You are guilty of being WRONG ON THE INTERNET and your sentence shall be a strongly worded paragraph

okay real talk my main beef with Automata is that too many of the fights are against androids your size and shape with similar ability sets; I feel those boss fights are kinda lame compared...
If these numbers were bad for Square they would've stopped porting to Steam many years ago considering this game is doing better than most FF titles on the platform
The game will not sell as much on PC as on console, and that's okay
It's a dumb point
Doubly so for PCMR people to make...
I think they're moreso upset at anyone that argued the 3 million sales numbers were too low whilst being fine with typical steam sale numbers. I don't know if that, specifically, applies to something you've said about its sales on Playstation. I know I haven't commented on its Playstation sales...
It would, at the very least, need to have the second screen content moved into its own menu accessible via a button press, have its resolution increased, and have lots of text and UI assets remade or replaced to be able to look okay on a single HD screen. It would also need its battle menu moved...
Food for thought

Final Fantasy - 500,000 - 1,000,000
Final Fantasy II - 200,000 - 500,000...
It won't and even Square knows it won't sell 3 million anytime soon on Steam
No Final Fantasy game on PC has had those kinds of lifetime sales numbers outside of FFXIV
Most FF games on Steam have not sold over 1 million according to Steamspy.
The only ones that have broken 1 million are:
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy XII
Final Fantasy XIII
Final Fantasy XIV
Final Fantasy XV
And the only one to break 2 million is XIV
I truly hope this forum doesn't take...
