Rumor RTX 5090 to have 32GB VRAM and 600-watt power consumption, RTX 5080 specs also leaked

I would like to upgrade my PC at some point; my 3070 already isn't really enough for the 4k gaymin' I want to do with games like FF7 Remake. I KNOW it won't be able to do FF7 Rebirth at that res when the time comes. The 5000 series might be the gen to do that in, but I already know I can't...

Discussion Metaphor: ReFantazio prologue demo now available

You laugh but this happens way too often Armored Core 6 and Elden Ring are also like this where the PS4 version runs better on PS5 than the PS5 version. I imagine the games being lower fidelity on PS4 make them easier to run.

Discussion Why the lack of attention to what Nintendo is up to?

I could def see this being the case. I've gotten the impression Capcom wants their Monster Hunter games on handhelds in particular.

Discussion Why the lack of attention to what Nintendo is up to?

saying this right after Echoes of Wisdom came out is wild The hardware not keeping up with tech is a good thing, keeps things cheap. I don't wanna spend $700 on a video game console lol

Discussion What Are You Playing Right Now?

So far I haven't run into one. The game started out as having a time limit but as far as I can tell it doesn't really matter because your first objective is to get 100,000 cole in a month which is near impossible (I wound up making about 2700 cole by the end of the month, for reference). But it...

Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland KT was having a sale so I jumped on this since I really liked Rorona. Game seems a lot more forgiving and easier on players with its time limits being a lot less strict and close. Totori's voice is so meek and kawaii too 😭 I just traveled to Arland and...

Discussion PS4 emulator ShadPS4 can now run Bloodborne at 20 fps [Update: high framerates reached]

inFamous Second Sun is now ingame (for those not in the scene, ingame means the game not only launches but makes it to actual gameplay, but it also means the game is not in a "playable" state yet and can't be completed.)

Discussion PlayStation Studios are now promoting competing hardware (Steam Deck)

This is really cool, I think the deck startup movie looks quite nice, but these games would not really look or run particularly well on the Deck. like oh boy 800p 30fps low-medium settings

News Threads of Time (Chronno Trighger Homage) Announced

This looks incredible. The pixelart is fantastic, and I love the perspective on the battles. And time traveling as a JRPG mechanic is inherently really good for worldbuilding because you get to see how this world changes over time and what caused those changes.

Discussion Tom Warren: gonna be worth tuning into the Xbox Tokyo game show stream next week

No Lightning Returns is the best of the trilogy It's basically JRPG Majora's Mask I thought it was really cool needing to be in different places at different times of day in order to take on certain quests, and some of the city design helped make that more challenging by having gates that shut...

Cool! I hope Xbox fans enjoy these classics. If nothing else Final Fantasy VI is incredible and worth everyone's time, but also I really want more people to appreciate Final Fantasty II. Let the Xbox fans be blessed with the predecessor to SaGa so that more people can come to realize the earnest...

PC Bloober Team had to convince Konami to release Silent Hill 2 on PC.

Aren't there some games that never had it removed? Like I'm pretty sure Nier Automata and Metal Gear Solid V still have Denuvo on their releases despite being several years old. Honestly worries me; what happens when Denuvo servers go down and companies don't bother removing it? Games...
