I mean, Square Enix could benefit in the sense that their productions are not very consistent in their output, even if their games are mostly enjoyable. They still come up with bangers like FFXVI and FFVII Remake. However, I'd be afraid of more Forspokens if Sony got more involved, I am kind of...
You always hear sales milestones of any product or service, even if it's private. I'm not saying the Steam Deck isn't cool, it is a cool little thing. But to go from that to saying Windows will become irrelevant because of a handheld that sells about a million a year? I don't even have words to...
Because you are spending way too much time, money and effort into bad quality parts, used GPUs or underpowered ones, you deal with way more driver issues, more bugs and yet all you get in return is a crappy substitute of a PS5.
Of course, it makes sense if you want it mostly for pirating...
The SSD does make a difference, as you will be sitting there waiting for decompression to finish or loading screens, it affects the quality of the experience.
You said equal to PS5 or better for the same price, of course you can dial down everything to very low settings, that's not the point...
That's a PCI 3.0 SSD, not 4.0. It's very slow compared to the one on PS5.
PS5 runs games above 1080p, you will run into problems with texture quality with only 8 GBs in RAM.
You didn't include a windows license. That's what? Another 50 dollars?
The case you included doesn't even have a price...
Not that I don't believe that you could have some configuration that could be around a PS5 for 300 or 400 EUR more, but I'd rather us try to have actual hard numbers because those claims are usually clouded by platform preference. Even if the value the PS5 offers now is less for money than what...
It's best selling by revenue, so that's a spurious claim. Tell me how many units the Steam Deck has sold lifetime and per year if you are going to make a dumb claim like that.
I have used Steam, it's just an online store with DRM. Whenever Valve got ambitious with Steam OS and came out with the...
The PS5 is 500 EUR, I've shown you what an RTX 4060 costs. Prove your claim that you can build a PC that is just as good as a PS5 for cheaper. You can't skip buying a windows license nor any of the parts needed to build a computer.
My mind is blown at how nonsensical your claims are. Steam is just an online store with DRM to buy PC games, machines using Steam OS sell so little it's not even a factor.
Huh? I just did a quick check, and the cheapest RTX 4060 just by itself is a bit over 320 EUR, and they only have 8 GB in RAM. The one with 16 GB in RAM costs 500 EUR. How do you even get to that conclusion?
But the sales are basically nil at this point, right? Why get so excited when they have been on the market for a few years now and they are nowhere near taking off? They are niche devices, nothing more.
For all the coverage of these handhelds and whatnot, what are the actual sales of these devices? Like, a couple of million max lifetime sales? Xbox is doing way better than that, and it seems they are ready to throw in the towel.
It's mainly 2 things:
1. The push for GAAS is obviously not working.
2. They staffed themselves up with useless new hires that are more interested in DEI than doing any work. Look at Naughty Dog, even Druckman said that they are focused on reducing crunch and other quality of life things rather...
Oh man, this is the best. :D
Someone should make a movie where Harley Queen gets thrown out from the top of a building and buried in 5 meters of sand, the character is way overplayed at this point and always sucked outside of the animated series.
Anyway, this reminds me I should get this game...
For those kind of fanboys, they'll pretty much stop having what little relevance they have. You can only be a hooligan if there is an enemy team in front of you. Maybe he'd be angry at Xbox out of spite for a while, but who is there really to get angry about? Nintendo? They don't produce the...
