Discussion Is the reason the PlayStation 4 sold worse than PS3 in Japan is because it had the number "4" in it?

There are 6 million PS5s in Japan right now but the software sales are shit. Why is that? Digital sales and free to play are a factor too but simply there aren't 6 million PS5s in Japan right now. At one point the exchange rate was favorable so people were reselling them abroad for profit...

News Metaphor: ReFantazio shipments and digital sales top one million

Metaphor broke the CCU record on Steam for Atlus. Square Enix is watching but they will skip PC day and date in the future right? The only cope you have left is: but it's gonna flop on Xbox! I'm sure it will and? What really matters here is that Sony lost all their third party exclusives.

Discussion Is the reason the PlayStation 4 sold worse than PS3 in Japan is because it had the number "4" in it?

It was always way behind the PS4. A console sold in Japan and then immediately resold abroad obviously doesn't count.

Discussion PC gamers aren't buying games again - Silent Hill 2 debuts on Steam with 21k player count

Well yeah if Sony won't accelerate their ports in the next 4 years of course I'm gonna stop saying it. But it's a little hard to believe.

Discussion Sony forecasted 18 million units for the fiscal year

400 dollars is a great price especially when you consider that it will have games. Exclusive games. Not Steam please help us sell some more games.

Discussion Sony forecasted 18 million units for the fiscal year

It's already improbable but most likely Nintendo will say something about their next console soon and it will kill any chance for Sony to reach 18 million.

Cool, doesn't change the fact that Sony will go day and date.

Playstation Until Dawn's PS5 debut 28% weaker than Concord

The game is good, a sequel is good, a movie not sure, and a remake was definitely a bad idea so we're laughing at it.

Yes he is. I heard about him only last month and he was wrong on Resident Evil 9 and the date for the State of Play.

Discussion The Doomers and Gloomers, Sony is dying thread.

Oh wow an accessory sold out in Japan, PlayStation is saved! No it's not, it's dead and buried. Have you ever looked at the games sales charts? It's a disaster, completely dominated by Nintendo. By the time Sony will be ready to release a handheld they will be irrelevant already in Japan.

Discussion Another PC flop: Until Dawn underperforms on Steam with 2.5k CCU at launch. Hermen flees the country

What's stopping them? I don't know maybe the fact that SteamDB isn't owned by Valve but it's a fan project.

Discussion Another PC flop: Until Dawn underperforms on Steam with 2.5k CCU at launch. Hermen flees the country

You know what the problem is? It should have been a PC exclusive. A Sony game only on PC would have created hype and sales would have been much higher.
