There are 6 million PS5s in Japan right now but the software sales are shit. Why is that? Digital sales and free to play are a factor too but simply there aren't 6 million PS5s in Japan right now. At one point the exchange rate was favorable so people were reselling them abroad for profit...
Metaphor broke the CCU record on Steam for Atlus. Square Enix is watching but they will skip PC day and date in the future right? The only cope you have left is: but it's gonna flop on Xbox! I'm sure it will and? What really matters here is that Sony lost all their third party exclusives.
It's already improbable but most likely Nintendo will say something about their next console soon and it will kill any chance for Sony to reach 18 million.
Alright
That's already happening at Firesprite
Could still work but the problem here is that Until Dawn is already a movie kinda so they're gonna make another movie with a worse cast
Well too bad it wasn't so easy this time. It flopped accept it.
Oh wow an accessory sold out in Japan, PlayStation is saved! No it's not, it's dead and buried. Have you ever looked at the games sales charts? It's a disaster, completely dominated by Nintendo. By the time Sony will be ready to release a handheld they will be irrelevant already in Japan.
You know what the problem is? It should have been a PC exclusive. A Sony game only on PC would have created hype and sales would have been much higher.
