Exactly, GaaS is pretty much this. No company should invest more than $20 million on a GaaS. Make 2 maps with character editor and release that shit as early access then watch what happens.
It could be that Bloodborne remake was under pre production and is currently in hold. He may or may not be wrong. We can't judge him based on that. Also, not everyone gathering inside information can secure 100% correct information.

With that logic they should've released it with $10 price tag because it only costs $3 million to make which is cheaper thab the cost of developing small indie game
But you can't say that 200k bought the game and only 23k showed at a time. Games that sell ok on steam usually peak at 50k and higher.
Also, Sony games will gather more reviews than any other game due to first being popular and because there are always positive reviews to bebposted to counter...
I don't really know why companies are butchering themselves with this shit. It seems as if it is something out of their hand. You think government pressure? Investing companies pressure? What derive all this modern audience shit? It seems like it's dictated on them from higher entity.
