Wasn't the Series launch also the first in history without a proper launch game, since all of their games use Smart Delivery? It's crazy how they try to gain market share with any possible means but games.
I think if you really want to know what Xbox fans think are "bangers", this is the wrong place to ask 😅 For that, you might get better answers on twitter. I'd still recommend checking out the games mentioned in this topic.
Not exactly a Xbox fan, but I loved the 360 back in the day. I don't think any of these are outstanding, but I still had fun with them:
Ryse - Son of Rome, ReCore, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2 (I could never get into the newer ones, because I hate how the progression works in these games)...
I'm still interested in the handheld if it is real and not just a remote play device. If it can play something natively without a constant internet connection, I'm in. Don't know if I want a Pro this soon, I just got my PS5 last summer. Really depends on the price and performance upgrade.
But, but covid, inflation, whatever else nonsense team green is screaming! These people should feel really stupid after this week. Happy to see PlayStation this healthy, another console that will easily break the 100 million!
I've recently got Nun Massacre on sale and that might be the most tense and scary game I've ever played. Got the good ending and am now trying for the normal ending. I've become a bit obsessed with the dev Puppet Combo, I hope more of their games get a console release.
Yeah, Xbox marketing is terrible. This is what they get for accepting MSFT money. Hope they're satisfied with these "engagement" numbers. I wonder how many of these 2.8 million "players" actually made it past the first boss...
This man has been failing upwards his entire career, I doubt he will leave. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if the US media didn't have another award for him lined up already lol
Thanks for clarifying. It's crazy that all these added MAUs come from acquisitions, none of them MSFT actually created themselves - and going by that PiersHR tweet, a good chunk of "their" active users are everywhere but on Xbox.
I genuinely do not understand any of this. I'm just seeing that gaming revenue and hardware revenue have declined, while content and services grew. Why am I reading everywhere that this is apparently "not as bad as many thought"? What am I missing from these numbers?
They still keep boasting that Publisher of the Year "award" if that meant anything. I'm glad that these people finally get a bitter taste of reality. I'm so sick of gaming conversations online, especially on twitter. I'm glad I found this forum.
Because of a PlayStation Stars reward, I started playing "A Space for the Unbound". Love the pixel look and the story after chapter 1 is very intriguing. A lot of mysteries to uncover, I hope it will have a good resolution. Looking forward to playing more of it!
I feel like the twitter meltdown is the most satisfying thing to happen in a while. Guess MS played with their userbase one too many times, took the lie a bit too far and people slowly come to the realization that this is what so many of us have been saying for the past decade. It's like they...
