In hindsight, the comment on the ResetEra thread probably meant that Dusk is right about WayForward's Clock Tower game and wrong about it being announced on today's stream.

On a serious note, I hope Dusk is right about Clock Tower. It would be interesting to see what a modern installment of that franchise would look like.
The Sony merger seemed contingent on Bungie maintaining a high degree of independence, so if they ever make an exclusive, it'll probably be because of technology more than anything else. At the very least, it will be their decision.
I'm going to open my statement by saying: damn WeGotThisCovered and damn GiantFreakinRobot.
(The former is unredeemable, and the latter gets some stuff right on occasion but reports a lot of nonsense.)

He says "This thread ain't wrong... well, part of it," so my guess is that he's implying Clock Tower is the franchise and WayForward Technologies isn't the developer.
WayForward previously pitched a Nintendo DS Silent Hill game to Konami and developed Book of Memories. . They've also worked on The Mummy Demastered and others.
