    That’s mostly my point. Development is growing increasingly expensive and I feel like they have to.

    That’s fair, but I’m still not interested. I’m generally against the idea of remakes/remasters and don’t want to keep buying the same games over and over.

    Although I’m curious, I grew up with the original and don’t really feel a compelling reason to play the remakes (an unpopular opinion for sure). I prefer to remember it as it was back in 97.

    Indeed. Many console exclusives haven’t been truly exclusive for awhile now.

    I honestly don’t think the industry can support console exclusives for much longer. Development cycles are growing increasingly long and vastly more expensive. This includes Sony.
