Most reasonable people wouldn't buy themselves a gaming PC that has the same performance experience as a modern PlayStation due to cost (unless it makes sense for their job). Most people won't buy that for their kids. PlayStation 6 will sell just as well as the PlayStation 5, especially if Xbox...
Sony is SLLLOOOOOWWWLLY trying to take control of Epic and I'm guessing it's because of their engine (used in movies, TV and gaming) alongside Fortnite. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony realized that they could just create a competitor to Unreal Engine via Decima after seeing how things worked...
It has the same issue as Persona. From what I can tell, either the writing is clearly not from people who's education and/or passion is in writing/storytelling or they dumb down the dialogue to reach a wider audience. It's the common issue I have with videogames and anime.
It sucks that...
I remember during the PS3 era I was thinking about getting into the gaming industry. I think seeing how EA, Ubisoft(?) and Activision was treating their teams forced me to rethink that.

Have the 30 somethings and up moved on from Nintendo moreso than usual?
Multiple years old games = legacy games. I'm using the term "legacy" as a shortened version of games that are probably well passed their ability to entice someone to buy a PlayStation 5 (one of the reasons for exclusives).
Neither one of us know how truly impactful Sony's PC ports are for those...
Look at the sales data for modern Call of Duty, Madden, Grand Theft Auto, Assassin's Creed and other super mainstream games. Sony/PlayStation doesn't have to worry about PC. PC is all about multiplayer shooter games and random indie darlings. I can't even think of a time where racers blew up in...
Oh boy. Software development does not work like that. The only way more people can be a net positive (financially) is if they become their own internal team, producing their own games.
By PS5/PC exclusives, do you mean PlayStation's day and date releases of live service games?
If so, I think it's a smart move. If PC gaming continues to get more expensive (it will) more people will just move towards consoles for high-end gaming. High-end PC gaming is already a niche.
