Activision hasn’t just pulled Quarry from Hardpoint playlists for “unfavourable spawns”. It’s also pulled Rundown and Scrapyard for the same reason. Then, Activision removed Karachi from the Cutthroat playlist “while we work to resolve an issue causing a player to spawn alongside enemies”.
It’s not a great start for Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer, which had a high-profile open beta last month. Overnight, a fresh report alleged Modern Warfare 3 was developed in a year-and-a-half rather than the typical three-year development cycle, leading to heavy development crunch within the studio.
