As spotted by Game Rant, Captain Laserhawk Niji Warrior has been rated by PEGI, suggesting an official reveal could be on the way.

The title, which has only received a rating for a PC version so far, is likely based on Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, a Netflix animated series that was itself inspired by Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

The show follows a cyborg super-soldier branded an enemy of the state and struggling to find a cause worth fighting for in a dystopian society.

The game sees “players take part in a laser ‘deathmatch’ and compete to eliminate the most opponents,” according to PEGI’s rating. It also lets players purchase in-game items, such as cosmetics.

Press reports earlier this year claimed that Ubisoft is currently developing Far Cry 7 and a standalone Far Cry multiplayer game.

It’s claimed that Far Cry 7 is being made with Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, rather than the Dunia engine used for recent series entries. The multiplayer game is reportedly an extraction-based shooter set in the Alaskan wilderness.

Both titles were said to be tentatively scheduled for release in the fall/autumn of 2025.

Ubisoft has also been making numerous appointments and promotions surrounding the Far Cry brand, to prepare for the series’ future.

Last August, Ubisoft Montreal veteran Sandra Warren was promoted to vice president and executive producer of the Far Cry brand. Warren joined Ubisoft in 2006 and has been involved in the Far Cry series since 2016’s Primal. Most recently, she was the brand producer for Far Cry 6.

Im reading words, but I'm still going to need the proper announcement because that whole mix gives me no insight into what the hell this is beside that's its MP.

It’s claimed that Far Cry 7 is being made with Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, rather than the Dunia engine used for recent series entries.

This part is cool though, Snowdrop is gorgeous AND is a good performer(at least, how Massive is using it).
Would fit well with a Far Cry game.

Yeah given how damn fast thy churn out other games like Assn Creed.

They've also cancelled a bunch of GaaS games in the last few years that they were working on because the ones that came out besides a select few all flopped out of the gate and ended support extremely fast.

Ubisoft hasn't fired that many employees compared to other publishers that are also struggling, so I expect they've put a lot of those bodies into the big IPs to be able to churn them out at an increased rate or as support for DLC/Expansions.
