Looking forward to Atlus going out of business and selling to Sony
Wouldn’t be surprised if Netflix bought sega and make live action adaptations out of all their ip. With the decline in comic book films and gaming being the next big thing Netflix would love to whore out sega. They get content for streaming plus a a lot content for their gaming division which literally no one cares about.
In the year end commemoration of my wife’s studio (physiotherapy… so not related to games or IT) one of the talk was how GTA on Nextflix was looking good… even the phone of one of the girls got passed in table across everybody to see it running in an iPhone 15.

Yeah them expanding their supports platforms out to even netflix of all things seems to contradict the idea of them selling to anyone, along with the comments their CFO made about being flattered but not interested in being acquired.
Everyone says they aren’t in until the pot of money is big enough. Bungie denied being in talks with anyone, ninja theory said they weren’t interested, blue point they weren’t interested. Let’s be real everything has its price. Sega is worth 3 billion and change but they’ve been doing so bad lately they couldn’t get the covid premium everyone else was getting a couple yrs ago but if someone offered 5 billion Sammy would take it in a second and say fck u to sega.
