What do you think is the best new settings for God Of War. Maybe making a prequel when Kratos still chaotic?

So basically shortlist

China: Kratos works under Wa to punish Xang for heresy.
Egypt: Maybe do something with Ra since I don't know any drama in Egypt myth
Japan: Kratos is the one who kidnaps Izunami to nether and kill her to enrage whole Sky.

Lots of interesting mythos

Plus pyramids as levels with traps and puzzles could be very interesting

Egypt would be cool. Aten and Kratos vs the Egyptian Pantheon?

Id also like the Pantheons of different countries to go to war with each other and Kratos being stuck in the middle.

Japan, China, Egypt, Celtic Im down for any.

Also Summerian/Persia vs Indian. The Asura/Ahuras vs Devas, Divas etc.

No full reboot please. Keep Kratos and continue with him

He's been in Egypt in the prequel comics to the Norse saga. It makes sense to use the existing lore and expand on it.

What was his attitude, what did the Egyptians know or think about him? etc
