Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake without really being a remake that we needed, it is a well-received remake that will update the original work so that it remains relevant for new generations. Without being perfect, which has some small design flaws, Naia and Naiee's adventure deserves to be enjoyed and now we have the perfect excuse for it. Prepare for the whirlwind of emotions.
Atarita - Atakan Gümrükçüoğlu - Turkish - 90 / 100
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake will appear before you in a way that has kept up with today's technology. The game, which has made a big leap especially in terms of visuals, has done a magnificent job by remaining faithful to the original game.
Fun Factor - Diogo Arez - Portuguese - 7.5 / 10
Brothers is a good remake of an overlooked gem of the 7th generation of consoles, boasting a graphical overhaul that completely transforms some of the areas, and some new little secrets make it worth the play for both new and old players alike, that said, some technical problems were a bummer.

"Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake" elevates the presentation and soundtrack of a true classic to a contemporary level, while also optimizing the precision of the controls and enemy behavior. The most important gameplay innovation compared to the original remains the two-player co-op mode, which, strictly speaking, already existed in the 2019 version of the Switch. If you already know the latter or have already played through the original, you will primarily pay for a nice technology upgrade. However, for those who are primarily interested in catching up on the original in a new guise, the remake is undoubtedly the best option at the moment.

From its incredible story and how well it tells it to its wonderfully realized setting and more, all of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons' biggest strengths are present and accounted for in the remake. Given how faithful of a recreation it is though, those who own the original will likely wonder if the remake is worth a purchase.
Geeks & Com - Marc-Antoine Bergeron Cote - French - 8 / 10
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake offers a modern take on a video game classic. Although the changes are few and far between, Avantgarden Games has shown great respect for the original game. The use of the new graphics engine makes it even easier to immerse yourself in this touching story, while marvelling at the scenery. The adventure remains fairly short, but the retail price is far from excessive. I particularly recommend the game for those who didn't have the chance to play it back then, or for those who wish to repeat the experience in co-op.
God is a Geek - Chris White - 9 / 10
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a top example of bringing back a classic to the present day, with stunning visuals and a great story.
Hobby Consolas - Alberto Lloret - Spanish - 75 / 100
With hardly any changes in gameplay and development, the Brothers remake manages to offer a bigger show thanks to Unreal Engine 5, although not without technical problems at launch, such as notable firecracks and clipping, at least on PS5. If you played it back in the day, you're not going to find much new, and the extras and novelties are a bit lazy.
IGN Italy - Francesco Destri - Italian - 8 / 10
Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons Remake reintroduces a great little cult game of the recent past with an appreciable graphic makeover, and basically that is enough to make it a recommended game even today.
IGN Spain - Laura Rey - Spanish - 8 / 10
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is everything we hoped it would be. Avantgarden and 505 Games gave us a remake created in Unreal Engine 5 that is completely faithful to the story, which remains intact. With a wonderful soundtrack, a new cooperative mode and breathtaking scenarios, the story of these brothers is worth reliving.
Press Start - Brodie Gibbons - 8 / 10
Just as it was ten years ago, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is a succinct, yet economical, adventure that wastes no time in delivering a beautiful and devastating co-op experience that, through this remake, can now be shared with another-even if that dilutes the game's novel concept as a result.
Push Square - Graham Banas - 7 / 10
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a solid retread that occasionally gets in its own way. The graphical and musical overhauls are spectacular, and the emotional heft of the story is intact, but the industry has left the title behind in a lot of ways. The control scheme is still pretty unique, and a rousing success in single-player, but the co-op mode comes with an asterisk. While it's a welcome accessibility inclusion, it fundamentally alters the experience, and not really for the better. Throw in some technical woes and you're left with a remake that doesn't quite feel up to snuff in a modern setting. However, the core game was incredible for its time, and ultimately remains a moving tale in this refreshed version.

We often regard remakes and remasters as a corporate form of quick profit, but every now and then a unique title like Brothers Remake appears unexpectedly and you finally recognize what a true videogame labor of love is. It's a project created with passion and true dedication of the authors to recreate something resembling the original as closely as possible and yet sprinkle here and there a little bit of originality and tiny improvements. Even though this tale of two sons is more than ten years old, this remake shows that it is still worth telling!
Saudi Gamer - Arabic - 8 / 10
A masterclass in storytelling and environmental puzzles in a petite experience that is both funny and touching. This remake might not add much but it's a classic regardless of version
The Games Machine - Nicholas Mercurio - Italian - 9 / 10
AvantGarden Games has done a simple and effective job of bringing back an intense video game. Strengthened by a beautiful story, born from the pen of Joses Fares, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Remake is a work of art that explores the most intimate human sides, enhancing the bond that binds one brother to another. Its greatness lies precisely in its simplicity. An excellent remake of an incredible video game.
TheSixthAxis - Jim Hargreaves - 8 / 10
Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons was hardly in need of a remake. However, replaying the game more than a decade after its debut, where every inch has been beautifully crafted anew, has been a delightful experience, and one we can finally share with a second player. We just wish there was more of it.
WhatIfGaming - Hristijan Pavlovski - 8 / 10
