Chris Dring: Every new game last week did well in Europe (DBZ Sparking Zero, Silent Hill 2 and Metaphor)

Chris Dring from GamingIndustry.biz talked in a podcast about the sales of the new release.



Most of it was already know but the early "floop" claims last week didn't age well.

What he said about Metaphor...

• Decent sales across Europe.
• Pretty close to DD2 sales.
• Bigger launch than Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Persona 3 Reload.
• Not as big as Persona 5 Royal launch.

What he said about Silent Hill 2 Remake...

• 78% PS5 / 22% PC.
• Outperformed Calisto Protocol and AW2.
• Dead Space Remake did a little better.

What he said about Dragon Ball...

• Huge hit in Europe.
• 140% more than the precious fastest selling DB games (FighterZ).

About others games:

• Undisputed is #4 biggest sport game launch in Europe this year.
• Undisputed worlwide is probably ahead F1.

I wouldn't be surprised if PS5 made up over 60% on average. PC around 1/4th and the remaining single digits on Xbox.
