I'm confused, his tweets seem to contradict themselves. If all hardware experienced a decline as his 1st tweet suggests, then how can hardware be up 6% on his 2nd tweet?
I think PS5 has reached critical mass. Too much momentum for it to stop selling well thanks to the network effect and capturing the zeitgeist.
Even if MS hadn't turned Xbox into a total joke and a brand seen as a huge loser, this generation would be a write-off for them. Considering the brand damage and generally poor perception, it's a lost cause forever. There's a reason why the re-shuffle of Xbox executives changed all their titles to Microsoft Gaming instead of Xbox as their division. The Xbox brand is dead once they pull the plug on Series.
