Has anyone played this the original game, what were your thoughts,

I am looking at the artwork in that clip, it just looks so beautiful,

I want to play it...
But with these type of games, one can too easily wait for PS+ sub to deliver.

I bought and beat this game at launch(PS5). It's a fun game, can probably be finished in 5 hours if you ignore most of the stuff but a normal playthrough might run 15-20, the gameplay is a little janky but not too bad. Did encounter some crashing issues and the game soft-locking which required a restart, also one save-destroying bug which caused me to have to start a new save. Hopefully those have been fixed by now.

I did think the gameplay loop got a little tiresome about 2/3 of the way through but thankfully the final boss fights were pretty good so I didn't leave with a bad taste in my mouth.
