Destiny playerbase surges with latest update

Yesterday’s user count for both PVE and PVP are huge. The 45% projection miss in revenue kinda also has a comparable drop in players. Destiny has not hit the million mark in months and numbers like these usually indicate a daily player count of 1 - 1.3 million.

Things are looking great for Bungie going into The Final Shape. The Into the Light update is okay…. not too crazy about like some of the community is it but it’s something.

Happens all the time a new expansion releases.

The issue was that this expansion was delayed that create a gap in their schedule where people stopped to play the game.
That is where the loss in revenue come... the issue to delivery the expansions in scheduled time.

Games like Destiny needs constant expansions without miss the schedule.

Said that Destiny is still the golden chicken of Sony.
There are rumors already the Destiny 3.
