Is there anyone else out there who thinks games suffer from a lack of realistic geographical scale?
For example, everything in Fortnite Battle Royale is less than 350m out. Your sight, due to how the geography is built, never extends farther than around 350 meters, often it's well under 300m. This means mid range rifles are essentially effective at all ranges and it means opponents can jump on you in less than 10 seconds using mobility items. It's not just Fortnite though, most AAA games suffer from this design.
Meanwhile there are some (very few) games that do this...
Does it bother anyone else when games don't play with long range distances?
