so for those who don't know. YouTube launched on February 14th, 2005 so while YouTube is older than The Xbox 360 and even PSP in North America. YouTube wouldn't go public until December 15th, 2005. Meaning The PS3 and Wii were the first consoles to launch and everybody could start posting unboxing videos of them and wow does this make me feel nostalgic!
Also E3 2006 was the first E3 after YouTube went public and gave us some cool stuff like this:
Now as to why this feels weird. I can't believe it's been 18 years since the Wii and PS3 build up and launch happened. The systems still feel sort of modern to me but these videos are such a time capsule that it's breaking my mind.
