Found a screenshot of a potential system requirements list for DD2 that seemingly shows that the maximum framerate target that can be stably hit is 30 fps? There are people claiming fake but it matches the Steam page's requirements list for recommended settings. Now, the game looks good... but there's no way it'll only be 30fps on pc right?

It only means it targeta 30 fps, doesnt mean it's locked
Generally the target means that it can reliably hit that fps. So the fact it doesn't go up to 60 means that it could be like 40-50fps, which is still disastrous

These supposed specs dont mention Nvidia DLSS, so either the devs are aiming for a low framerate experience or the game is an unoptimized mess.

I'd imagine in this age where we dogpile games for not having 60fps capcom wouldn't put a frame limiter on the game's pc port lol unless you're like below minimum requirements.

3080TI for 1440x30 that is insane. Surely this is overestimating.

From DD2's Steam page:

Minimum:
  • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
  • OS: Windows 10 (64 bit)/Windows 11 (64 bit)
  • Processor: Intel Core i5 10600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600

That's 2160i with framedrops btw. Interlaced means it's not 4k, but half of 4k.

Its neither. This is the same issue with the Frostbite engine not working for RPGs. RE engine isn't built for so much crap happening in 1080p.

2160 interlaced and only 30fps. So that is 15 fps at full frame. Wut?
Idk if it's something wonky with the engine but if it requires a 2080 for 2160i/30fps I expect it to take a 4080 or 4070 Ti to do 4k/30 native. Regardless the game doesn't look that good to be requiring that kind of grunt

thats fake. The real specs are on steam.
It doesn't seem that fake to me. The specs listed make sense compared to the Steam page.
