COD is just a sensory overload these days, it's about making you feel like you're being rewarded all of the time for almost every little thing you do. It's just comical.

It works tho... pretty sure they got data to back that up.

Imagine a young kid picking up COD for the first time. He wants that affirmation that he's doing good after each kill. It's all psychological, and these studios exploit that for profit.
