Boy, that idiot on GAF who was begging people not to buy it because he thought EA should discount the price because they don’t pay FIFA a license fee anymore must MAAAAAAD.
Well Ive been proven wrong. I thought the name would hold more weight.
Even so, Im not paying full price for this. EA are greedy bastards, they make so much money and make very little change year by year to the game. Literally Fifa23 felt no different to the last time I played a Fifa. From commentating, animations, feel. It feels the same lifeless sports game

Its going to be like the baseball situation all over again except EA called their bluff successfully.
Meanwhile boxed sales are down 30% in the UK, too early to celebrate, EA is Microsoft levels of spinning their numbers on this game.
Keep in mind the game will be $150 million easier to profit on due to dropping the FIFA name.
