The dlc in souls game are always more difficult than the base
Dlc would be an absolute failure if it were easier than the base game. They are targeting guys that put at least 100 hours in elden ring
Even the mobs too, in many cases. I'm thinking of 'The Ringed City' and the reindeer in 'Crown of the Ivory King' in particular here.

Reason why I play these is for the thrill, the difficulty and feeling of accomplishment because it isn't a walk in the park. Alot of ppl are high leveled at this point so dlc has to be hard.
