Fallout 4 next gen , where is it ?

Whatever happened to that 'next gen' update Bethesda promised for fallout 4 , wasn't it supposed to release years ago lol , have they silently cancelled it ?. Will it come but be nothing more than a slight resolution increase & faster loading times & be a paid upgrade ? ...

I found this bit about the FO4 update:

Fallout 4 next-gen patch is delayed until 2024

Bethesda just revealed that a next-gen, or current-gen, patch for Fallout 4 has been delayed until 2024. The update was due for 2023 and will bring higher frame rates and 4K resolution to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
