I never knew FF6 was about a month older than me. 94 sounds like a crazy year to me.
Final Fantasy VI, Tekken, Donkey Kong Country, Daytona USA, Killer Instinct, Super Metroid, Need For Speed launching on 3DO, Earthbound (In Japan), Donkey Kong '94 Gameboy, Sonic 3 and knuckles, Elder Scrolls Arena, The launch of the Sega Channel, The Japanese launch of the Sega Saturn, and most importantly the Japanese Launch of the PS1

Sadly in a time that Squre Enix didn’t give a shit to west market.
It was launched years late only in US as FF3.
