Famitsu has published its estimated physical game software and hardware sales data for Japan for the week of July 3, 2023 to July 9, 2023.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Switch was the highest selling game of the week, moving an additional 17,996 retail copies. Final Fantasy XVI for PlayStation 5 followed at an additional 14,109 retail copies.

Yes it will.

But at this point I'm leading to that even with bigger PS5 install base on Japan compared with PS4 FFVI won't reach FFXV numbers.
The harm (or people that give up on the franchise after FFXV) is probably bigger than most expected.
