I just want to say everyone that says ff16 isn't a final fantasy game are morons playing my snes mini & final fantasy 3 is the same basic story magic is the evil that is destroying the world

The reason why people see XVI as a bad/disappointing Final Fantasy game is because the RPG elements are non-existent. It's an action adventure game. Play VII Remake/Rebirth and compare them. Story and characters was the best aspect of XVI.
After the first five minutes, I felt that Final Fantasy magic (no pun intended). It was awesome. I love FF XVI.
16 is a fantastic game.
XV is also fantastic in a totally different way.

FF16 is a great game.
It is not an RPG which is why people don’t class it as a FF game.
Belongs in the same category as GOW, DMC etc.

@OP the reason people say FF16 isn't a real final fantasy is because there's a contingent of people that just hate action combat and will only consider it a true FF if it has turn based combat. The RPG elements are also some of the weakest they've been in the series, so there's that.
There are supposed to be 50+ games with pro mode on launch and we don't know the complete list so have to wait and see
