This second entry in the Fire Emblem Warriors series easily surpassed its predecessor, selling 45.3% more copies on its debut week. Fire Emblem Warriors launched in October 2017 on 3DS and Nintendo Switch.
Last week's No.1, Horizon Forbidden West, settled for No.2 with a slight 38% decrease in sales, while Mario Strikers remained steady at No.3 for a second week, despite a 37% drop.
Further down the charts, Super Mario Party reentered the list at No.34 following a 37% increase in sales week-on-week.
THQ Nordic's Wreckfest also reappeared, at No.35, following a 486% rise in sales after its Switch release on June 21.

I still think the OG Wii U Hyrule Warriors is the Intercity 225 of musou-game experiences.

Fire Emblem Warriors was just OK, and Hyrule Warriors 2: Breath of the Boogaloo had severe framerate issues which seriously hampered my enjoyment of it. I don't expect much from this edition, despite Koei-Tecmo seemingly having managed to get the stability of this game more inline with your traditional 3DS update circa 2014.
