According to a new report by The Verge, Activision is currently targeting a late October release for Call of Duty’s anticipated installment Black Ops 6.

October 18 would be considered mid-October. Given The Verge’s claims pointing to “late October”, this suggests that Black Ops 6 will likely drop on October 25, 2024. Insider Gaming supported this date per a new tweet from yesterday:

They need to start selling the single player separate. I don't care for call of duty multiplayer no more and the amount of gigabytes it takes up on my console.

Pretty sure they would if they could but they'd realize how many people don't actually care for it. Not to mention the high chance of people there getting let go because of the drop off in sales for the single player development teams.

Not to mention nobody wants to pay $70 for a game that can be beaten in under 3 hours.

That does make me think I wonder how many people will actually complete these single player campaigns.

They could drop the price to $30.00 or $40.00 but then if the multiplayer is a standalone they would have to hope most people that would play the multiplayer would pool in money on their store for cosmetics. Which will more then likely never happen.

June 6th? Is there any event there? Why not to keep it for June 9th? Maybe Sony still had this one signed and June 6th is when they are going to have their showcase?

I may be wrong, but I'd bet CoD2023 was the last one that Sony had signed.
