Forspoken is an upcoming action role-playing video game developed by Luminous Productions and published by Square Enix.
The protagonist, Frey Holland is a young woman who is transported from New York City to the fantasy world of Athia and uses magical powers to journey through it and survive in order to find her way home.

It is to be released on October 11, 2022 on PS5 and PC

I know there was a few people going around saying the footage that was shown and then removed looked bad but i thought it looked alright knowing it was still being worked on.
I am still looking forward to playing this game myself as its a open-world RPG set in a Isekai story.
( Isekai is a genre of fantasy anime where a character travels from the world they know to an unfamiliar one. Typically, isekai series will place a person in a magical realm of fantasy and/or terror, though occasionally it happens in reverse. )

I like the look of the gameplay,reminds me of Infamous. There was a clip shown at that netflix game event and the dialogue seemed way better than what was shown previously. I know a lot of people myself included were turned off by that initially.

The game seems to get unfair criticism. like complaining about being able to skip combat...like other open-world games.

The marketing is very quiet right now. Sony needs to include it in the next SOP imo. It's like they dropped it after the delay and forgot about it.

Technically this is their first game. FF15 wasn't originally their game. It was thrown at them in final stages and they had to finish it.
