I remember them reporting 5 million for launch year. Didn’t expect much else from it tho but it has been sold for like $5 for years now.

Anthem was sloppy.. but everything else that came after it was sloppy too. They could’ve moved on with 2.0 and been no worse off than some newer releases.

PS - anthem, division 2 and fallout 76 all came out in a similar window… fallout 76 is the only one that actually survived.

These games are trying to repeat the Destiny success but it is no easy task.

Anthem was less than half the game vanilla d1 was. It was sorely missing a real endgame and of course Destiny has pvp as endgame as well.

However… pretty fun to play. It just all kinda falls apart in-game when it does tries to do endgame. Definitely the best action game BioWare has ever made and the flight mechanics are dope and should be experienced for sure.
