I've been gaming a very long time and I use to collect loads of video Gane magazines and there was nothing quite like buying a new "Gamepro, Gane fan or Electronic Gaming Magazine" and checking out new gaming news. We are very spoked nowadays in the sense we get gaming news immediately on the web but before that we had to wait monthly and pay. Included is my stash I just found. Hope you enjoy seeing how things use to be...
GameFan (originally known as Diehard GameFan) was a publication started by Tim Lindquist, Greg Off, George Weising, and Dave Halverson in September 1992 that provided coverage of domestic and imported video games.[1] It was notable for its extensive use of game screenshots in its page design, contrasting other U.S. publications at the time. The original magazine ceased publishing in December 2000.
