i got this game for $20 a few weeks after it came out. It was overhated imo, it's a decent game.

Or that there’s not many engaging with Extra subscription tier games for whatever reason. I’ve been pretty disappointed with its offerings tbh lately. Plus Essential is kinda better with its drops.

I didn’t sub to Extra this year. I’m waiting till something I’m legit interested in appears and hasn’t gone for a decent sale price yet to entice me that way. At least they slowed down filling it with Ubisoft and square bargain bin titles.

I haven't been subbed during some months either (I had Premium before). I have been very busy, had little time to play and basically only played bought games in recent months.

I'll resub maybe for the Christmas holidays.

Isn't it because there's a lot more PS players so it needs more people for the percentage to be higher? That's what I got from the tweet.

The amount of players could be the same or higher even if the percentage is lower. I'm not that good at math but it made sense to me

There's a few factors at play here.

1) higher percentage of xbox users have gamepass than playstation users are on the higher tiers of PS+
2) xbox users are more likely to look for subscription content because that's what their ecosystem encourages
3) playstation users have a plethora of good games to play comparatively
4) gamepass version came out first so dual ecosystem users who are on both subs would have played the game via gamepass instead of PS+
