Thankfully, GT Sport’s single-player modes are still playable offline, including the GT League campaign mode and previously purchased downloadable content.

In other good news, Polyphony Digital has removed GT Sport’s online connection requirement, so you now save campaign progress offline. This bodes well for Gran Turismo 7’s future preservation.

Good stuff! Online games needs to have at least 10 years life cycle for their servers in this day and age. Unless it's an absolute flop but if trophies are tied to online stuff, they absolutely should.

Well, worth noting that this game was developed with online racing first and foremost in mind. And it succeeded tremendously in that regard. Who knows how it would be a further after Sport if didn't succeeded in online. SP content was just a secondary option.
